Parents Association

Welcome back to school in Term 2.  We hope you enjoyed the remote-learning school time over the past months and hope you will enjoy the on-site learning school time. This is an unprecedented learning experience. Thanks to everyone's great effort to make this transition successful. Here are some updates for you about the Parents Association's arrangements in this term. 

Secondhand Uniform Shop - Autumn Reopening!

We were back open today.  Due to social distancing rules, we managed parents by them picking up tickets from outside the 1/2 building entrance and they waited outside for their ticket number to be called, thankfully the sun was shining!  Only one person (or family) was allowed to enter the building at a time.  Thank you Shalini for coming to assist.  The next open day is 6th August (first Thursday of the month).

Thank you to the parents who donated the used uniforms to us and we really appreciated those parents who waited for a long time outside the building to come into the shop.  We ended up closing the shop at 11.30am, so thank you for your patience. It was a pretty good Autumn Reopening with over $320 made in total sales. Again,  all the money goes back to our students' learning program. 

Learning From Home Collection

Here is our last learning from home collection! Check out how our kids designed and tested their water filters for science, cross country running and their first day back at school after home learning. What an experience for all of us. 

PA Meetup and Events

We have cancelled a few events due to the COVID-19 situation in Term 1 and 2 including two PA Meetups, Secondhand Uniform Shop, the International Food Night, Grandparents/Special Person Day Morning Tea, Mother's Day Raffle and Cross-Country Fruits Treat.  Most of our events in Term 3 have a high chance to be postponed to later this year or next year. We will have an updated plan to be shared with you after our next PA Meetup. 

Our PA Meetup will be back on 19 June (Friday) at 2.30pm, YAY!!! Due to social distancing restrictions, we limit the number of meeting participants to 6 only at the School Conference Room, therefore it will be a committee members meeting this time.  Thank you for your understanding.  We will update you about our future meetups and plans via Rocket and Compass.
