‘The Ickabog’ by J. K. Rowling

Did you know that J. K. Rowling is releasing a book for free on the internet?  Each day over the next 6 weeks, a new chapter (or a couple) are released. 

3C read the first chapter of ‘The Ickabog’ this week and had to draw the portrait of King Fred.  Caue’s father sent the picture to J. K. Rowling on Twitter and she replied!  Check it out!

Whilst our time of learning from home comes to an end, we celebrate all of the fantastic work and activities that every child has completed during this time!  Well done!

Grade 1 and 2 students have been talking about all the important people in our community who have been working very hard to keep us safe.  We are making cards to say thank you to essential workers.  1J will be sending theirs to Monash Hospital, 1P to Glen Waverley Police Station, 2H to Mt Waverely IGA and 2PF to the school cleaners.
