COVID -19 Newsletter
All information related to COVID-19 and the School's actions in relation to this have been placed in a special newsletter that is being updated 'live'. Please click here to access.
Change to Reception Hours
From Monday, August 10 our Reception hours will be changing for the duration of the Stage 4 lockdown period.
Reception will be open between the hours of 9.00am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday. Please leave us a message, or send an email to office@bhcs.vic.edu.au, if you contact us outside of these times, and one of our team will respond to you.
Lead Parent Satisfaction Survey
The School would like to make families aware that we will be sending out a link to the LEAD Parent Satisfaction Survey.
Your feedback is important and the survey helps the School to determine both the areas where the School excels and the areas where improvement might be required.
The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
The information is collected by Independent Schools Victoria on the School's behalf and participation is anonymous. The data collected is presented back to the School as an aggregated result, which means parents cannot be identified.
Students Withdrawing in 2021
Parents are reminded that should your circumstances have changed and your child is not returning to BHCS in 2021, the School requires one term’s notice in writing. Failure to provide this notice will result in one term’s fees being charged in lieu of this notice.
Flexischools
A friendly reminder that Flexibuzz has now moved over to Flexischools. If you have not yet downloaded the Flexischools app, we strongly encourage you to do so. This is an important communication tool for families to receive reminders, emergency updates, send absence notifications, and more.
For those already registered and using Flexibuzz, you should have received an email from Flexischools to transfer your account. You will need to follow the link in the email to complete the registration and set a new password. If you are not yet using Flexischools, we strongly encourage you to download the app and register.
Caremonkey is rebranding to 'OPEROO'
CareMonkey is the database we use for student permissions – eg camps, excursions, events.
As prevously communicated, CareMonkey is rebranding to “Operoo”.
CareMonkey are experiencing a delay in their rebranding, therefore the new Operoo app is unfortunately not yet available. We will let families know when this can be downloaded.
Personal Details
We would like to remind families that if your circumstances change in any way - this includes address, phone numbers, email address, custody arrangements, and fee arrangements - please update your CareMonkey profiles and then contact the School as soon as possible. This will assist us in ensuring that the information we provide you is correct. Please feel free to email any updates to office@bhcs.vic.edu.au.
