Footy Jumper Friday- Boom Day

During the time of this pandemic, it’s been difficult to experience the brilliant school culture as it once was. We’ve missed out on sports events, art days and celebrations. Thankfully our school is never one to shy away from a challenge and Boom days are once again in full swing kicking off with ‘Footy Jumper Friday’ last week.

Students all across Zoom were dressing up in their favourite sporting team colours. As someone who isn’t a massive fan of sport, even I was caught decked out with my favourite footy team colours. Everyone’s involvement became a great source of conversation, from a chance for some funny banter or a communal yelling of ‘Go The Bombers’.

As we go into this season of further lockdown, I am blessed knowing our school is still doing all they can to ensure our community is protected but still having fun. I’m also very excited to see the silly dress ups that are to come, and the subsequent laughs we will share!
