Welcome to Term 3 and the challenges of learning and working in a remote environment for most of our Year 7 to 10 students. Despite your absence from on-site learning, we are here in the library to support you, so please get in contact with us at library@gec.vic.edu.au for all things library. Book Club will once again move to Google Classroom, so keep an eye out for some upcoming activities and discussion. Students interested in joining Book Club can email Ms Clare or the Library for an invitation.
The Children’s Book Council of Australia’s (CBCA) Book Week and Book of the Year Awards have announced new dates in 2020 due to the exceptional circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. Usually held in August, this year Book Week moves to October 17 - 23. Many of the CBCA 2020 Shortlist titles have arrived in the library.
