University / TAFE Open Days

Usually this time of year is when students are heading along to various University and TAFE Open Days to learn more about courses and explore their future options. Unfortunately due to the current restrictions at the moment, University and TAFE open days will be delivered virtually/online this year. I have included a list of University and TAFE Open Days for 2020 that are running throughout the month of August. The links you will need in order to register for these events are included in the document and once you have registered you will then be sent further communication from the institutes directly in regards to how to access their Open Days. Please make sure to confirm the dates and times of the Open Days directly with the Institution in case there are any changes. 

Year 12 VTAC and SEAS/Scholarship Information Sessions

As we are currently unable to hold full year level assemblies for the Year 12 students, we have decided to run smaller information sessions to the students regarding VTAC and SEAS/Scholarship applications. These information sessions will be run over lunchtime throughout the week of 3rd August - 7th August, giving students the option of choosing a day that suits them best. 

During these sessions we will be providing students with all the information required to assist with VTAC applications, including:

• What is VTAC and how to apply
• Key dates for the application process
• How to search and apply for courses
• Understanding and applying for SEAS and how COVID-19 will impact these applications
• Applying for Scholarships
