Welcome back for Term 3. In this Environmental Corner, I have selected some environmental activities that you can do around your home. Here they are:

Microgreens

In our society, microgreens are appearing in restaurants, green grocers, farmers markets etc. Microgreens are young vegetable greens that are approximately 2.5 to 7.5 cm tall and have concentrated nutrient content. They can be grown indoors.  You can grow a range of different types of microgreens.

How to make your own homemade beeswax wrap to replace plastic

To try and reduced plastics in the home you can use beeswax wraps to wrap up food products instead of plastic. You can use beeswax to cover containers in your fridge, wrap up your son/daughter’s lunch etc.
