Dress for Success Year 9 St Rita and St Francis Volunteer Project for ‘Wonder’

For the Term 2 Wonder project , St Rita and St Francis are working together to volunteer and gather resources for a non profit organisation called Dress for Success. Dress for Success empowers and provides the necessary assistance for women to overcome certain challenges in their lives.

When it comes to financial independence, escaping domestic violence or being introduced back into the workforce they are here to help. As Killester’s theme is compassion, we want to help others to get back on track and feel confident about themselves. Compassion is to help those who are suffering and those who are in need of help. Dress for Success is a great way to do so. They help women who have suffered from a terrible past by providing them with clothes for work.
