Manga mania

A quick note to let everyone know that Manga borrowing will be limited to two books per person for 1 week only due to its high demand! If the Manga you want isn't on the shelf just ask me to place a hold for you or I can show you how to do it yourself.

Winter has arrived

And so have 100 new books! When you read a great book it doesn't “feel” like reading. It feels like exploring, battling, learning and imagining all the other things the characters do. When we choose to read during times that are quiet and cold, we give our brains a chance to live the exciting life implied in a book. By choosing reading as your winter-blues go-to, you get to do something that takes you to another world, another place or a current event.

So many options; so little time, TBR piles are growing around the world!

Instagram has been around for a while now.....

Did you know that a lot of the libraries content is created in TikTok? If you only want to watch reels then check it out @ksclibrary. It is fun to create short reels and surprisingly a lot of people watch them with one reel clocking up 7631 views (that's a lot); who new my short and funky reels would attract to much attention.

Books overdue from Term 1

Sadly I currently have 82 overdue books outstanding, most were due in March.  Emails are sent on a daily basis as a reminder to return books when they are late; then the emails escalate to parents. If you are not sure if you have a book overdue please come to the library and find out. Invoices will be issued later on in the year if the books aren't returned, please keep in mind that you might have part of a series and you are stopping someone else from enjoying it!

Art show in the Library

The library has been a fabulous show of colour, imagination and TALENT the last few weeks. Check out the highlights on Instagram..........so many great pieces, I didn't have time to capture them all.
