Year 10 Woodwork Product Design 

Year 10 Product Design Tech students have finished off their Lamp production. This course involved exploring Product design using Wood. Students learnt how to consider purpose and function of their lamps through the design process, how to use technical drawings to communicate their needs to an audience. Our practical classes allow students to explore their own practice as makers by executing their own designs.

Year 10 Creating with Food 

...and the winner is, Beef Burritos!

Students have worked diligently over the semester to develop their knowledge and skills in the kitchen. The class voted on their last production recipe and Beef Burrito was the winner. They sliced, diced, grated, assembled and rolled their delicious creation! 

The functional properties of denaturation, gelatinisation, dextrinization and caramelisation were demonstrated and reinforced.
