Pop Up Op Shop

We are excited about the Op Shop opening again this year and anticipate having more customers than in 2021 when COVID restrictions limited operations. The shop will “pop up” for business on Wednesday 22nd June and will be open for sales at recess and lunchtime. All students and staff are welcome to come shopping, have a browse and find something fabulous to wear. We have a great stock of preloved clothing, shoes and accessories. Some special items will be selling for $5 but most priced at just $2, which are simply hard to resist!

Students from the Special Education Centre are developing their work skills by setting up this retail project. They have been collecting and sorting donations and have enjoyed hanging clothes and arranging items for sale. On the day, they will use their customer service skills, practise managing cash and making card sales. We are hoping for many students and staff from the mainstream to visit our Op Shop and spend a couple of dollars. We accept both cash and cards. All funds raised will be used to purchase plants/supplies for the Special Education kitchen garden. 

We would like to thank Mrs Kostalas’ senior Retail class for making such a great Op Shop window display near the school library. It has been fun partnering with these enthusiastic students.
