Book Club &  Book Week

Book Week

This week we will be celebrating Book Week. Students have been looking at and listening to numerous books that have been nominated for the Children’s Book Council of Australia Book Week awards.

As part of the Book Week celebrations, there will be a parade on Wednesday, 21st August commencing at 12.50pm.  All students from Kinder to Year 6 are asked to come to school dressed as one of their favourite book characters.

If you don’t have a favourite book character, perhaps you can come dressed as something associated with this year’s theme, which is ‘Reading is my Secret Power’.

The students will parade around the area outside the admin area and the middle playground. Parents, caregivers and relatives are encouraged to come along and watch the parade.
