Coming Soon... School Stream
With our old school app being decommissioned on the 31 st August, we have decided to replace it with School Stream which we will launch to our school community in the coming months.
School stream will offer our parents the following, plus more:
1. Detailed permission notes specific to events
2. One click payment portal
3. Events calendar
4. Easy access on your Iphone or Android phone
5. No account needed to join the school app
We will be running "how to" days in the coming months. Look out for the announcements of when they will be held. If you would like additional information, please see the front office.
Shade
We are fortunate enough to have some funding to purchase some shade sails and are looking at covering certain areas of the school and would like some feedback from the school community.
We have created a google form for you to do this.

Stewart House
Stewart House: From the Outback to the Ocean
Help send students from 9 local primary schools, 2 local high schools and 2 central schools within Broken Hill and surrounding areas to Stewart House, Sydney. Participating schools include: Alma Public School, Broken Hill High School, Broken Hill Public School, Broken Hill North Public School, Broken Hill School of the Air, Burke Ward Public School, Menindee Central School, Morgan Street Public School, Railway Town Public School, Tibooburra Outback School, White Cliffs Public School, Wilcannia Central School and Willyama High School.
A visit to Stewart House is a long-standing tradition within our community with past attendees holding fond memories of this trip when they too were just 10 – 12 years old.
This November, 26 students from Years 5 to 8, will fly to Sydney and stay at Stewart House, located near beautiful Curl Curl Beach for 12 days.
During their stay, students will attend school, visit iconic Sydney attractions (Taronga Zoo, The Australian Museum & Sydney Harbour Bridge) and access a range of health checks (dental, optical and audio screenings). Being away from home, students will be challenged to step outside of their comfort zone, build teamwork skills, resilience and develop lifelong friendships.
For many students, this trip will be their first flight on a plane, first visit to Sydney and their first swim in the ocean.
We believe this trip is essential to the improving student potential within their school and the wider Broken Hill community.
To help our outback students (and 2 chaperones) experience this unique opportunity, we require your support to purchase return flights. Please give now to ensure our young Broken Hill students get to Stewart House this November.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Don't forget to share this opportunity with others - together we will get our students to Sydney.
Thank you for your support.
Note: Railway Town Public school is the coordinating school for this Broken Hill combined schools community activity.
