Café 1739

Today the Ballarat City Council inspected our café kitchen and we are now officially registered to commence trading.  Please note that we will not be stocking single use disposable coffee cups for takeaway orders due to our commitment to sustainability; you will need to provide your own spill proof cup for takeaway orders.  We will have a warm/airconditioned area for you to sit and socialise with members of our school community during operating hours.

Footy colours day (last day of school)

Friday, September 20th is the last day of term as well as being walk to school day and footy colours day. The map and times for walk to school day will be available shortly on Sentral.

The students are invited to wear their footy colours to school on the last day of term. In return, we ask that all students bring some coins (any denomination) on the day to raise money for the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC) and associated Wellness Centre. BRICC helps support cancer patients within the Ballarat and Grampians region. The “A little change can make a big difference” campaign will help BRICC to break the Guinness world record for the longest line of coins along with assisting many local cancer patients. At school, the Junior School Council will collect the coins in football teams and line up the coins to see which football team has the longest line of coins. In turn, we will donate all coins brought to school to BRICC. The children will also be involved in multi-age football activities on this day.
