Student Led Conferences forthcoming
Next Tuesday 17 September is a pupil free day, with Student Led Conferences being held at the school from 12noon – 7:00pm.

The event will be open until 5pm next Monday 16 September. Should you have any queries or issues with bookings, please contact our school office for support.
Our OSHC service will be available for families requiring care for their children.

NAPLAN
Today, students in Years 3 & 5 who took part in the NAPLAN testing at school earlier in the year, have their NAPLAN results available for collection from the office. Results must be collected by a parent/guardian not by the student.
Please read the accompanying parent support materials to better understand your child’s achievements. Please also support your child/ren to celebrate their concerted efforts in fulfilling the requirements of the tests and their levels of attainment.
The data sets provided to the school are informative for planning and improvement purposes, supporting strategic, evidence-based programs intending to improve all student outcomes.
Daily classroom interactions and teacher observations, supported by relevant assessment tasks implemented locally, that are pertinent to our curriculum delivery, are a more reliable and accurate indicator of your child’s achievement standards and growth.
We look forward to giving you all a greater picture of your child’s progress at our Student Led Conferences next Tuesday.
Final Day of Term
Our final day of term 3 for 2019, is fast approaching. It is a huge day on our school calendar. Thanks to our JSC for their preparation and organisation for the day.
Firstly, it is Walk to School Day – pertinent information will be sent home and is consistent with previous Walk to School Days.
It is also “Footy Colours Day”. Students are asked to dress in their favourite footy colours from any code.
JSC are asking for coins to be donated to raise funds for BRICC & Associated Wellness Centre.
Finally, we will have a whole school assembly at approximately 9:10am with 2:30pm dismissal.
