Lilly-Anne Burns, Year 9
Congratulations to Year 9 student, Lilly-Anne Burns on receiving second place in the City of Armadale's Young Writers' Awards. The Young Writers' Awards is a creative writing (prose only) competition open to students in Years 3 to 12 who reside or attend schools in the City of Armadale. Lilly-Anne submitted a short story titled Bird Song into the Years 9 and 10 category. Congratulations Lilly-Anne!
Ashlee Boynes, Year 6
Congratulations to Year 6 student, Ashlee Boynes and her cheerleading team, Extreme Cheer Allstars Ignite for their outstanding success at the recent Australian All Star Cheerleading Federation State Championships. The team received the following awards:
The team will now compete in the Australasian Pinnacle Championships being held in Melbourne, Victoria in December 2019. They will also be competing in the Australian All Star Cheerleading Federation National Championships at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre prior to Pinnacle Championships.
Ashlee has been competing in cheerleading since she was seven and is the youngest team member in the senior division. We look forward to following Ashlee as she competes and wish her all the best for the competitions!
Navya Johri, Year 4
Congratulations to Year 4 student, Navya Johri who received an A for her AMEB Piano exam. She has worked very hard all year and deserves this amazing result. Keep up the good work Navya!
