Art X

Last term during our Art X workshops, students completed drawings of our Laverna and Anthony buildings.  These drawings are now being framed and submitted for display in an exhibition as part of the annual Brisbane Open House (BOH).  Our two buildings featured in the BOH event last year so we were invited to be part of this exhibition.  The exhibition is open to the public, and you are most welcome to attend.  Once this exhibition ends, we will collect the works, which will be displayed at our own College Art Show on Friday 18 October.

This ambitious exhibition includes drawings of key buildings which have participated in BOH.  Works have been created by local artists, including architects, designers, and enthusiasts.  The drawings are all by hand and range from concept diagrams, hand-drawn presentation drawings, 'en plein air' sketches, and finished drawings/paintings/prints.  Over 100 artists have contributed to the exhibition by producing over 200 artworks.

Wednesday 2 to Sunday 13 October:

Monday to Friday between 9.00am – 5.00pm

During the BOH weekend:  Saturday 12 & Sunday 13 October between 10.00am and 4.00pm
