Local business, Centrestage Costumes, recently relocated premises. Faced with such a big move,  management decided that it was time for a big spring clean!

Thinking about the wider community and looking for an opportunity to contribute, Centrestage kindly offered their surplus stock the BSC Performing Arts Learning Area. This gesture was incredibly generous,  and words cannot express how much the donation is appreciated!

In keeping with their excellent customer service ethic, Mum and son team, Mary and Jimmy, not only donated the stock but also helped BSC staff move the significant haul to the college!

The range and volume of the costumes and associating props is breathtaking - and represents an absolute windfall for the faculty.  The ability to provide some costuming examples and options for the participants in the whole-school and junior school productions, as well as for general use by Drama students, will make a huge difference to the workload - and of course, the budget!

In the meantime there is the busy job of sorting, tagging and arranging appropriate storage for the huge wardrobe.  Staff and students are having a ball foraging through to find their personal favourites and playing dress-ups!

While

Centrestage Costumes

may have moved locations,  they remain very much a local Brunswick business.

Centre Stage Costumes can now be found at 788 Sydney Road, Brunswick (Tel 0418 101 860).  Check out their website for any of your costume needs - if you want it,  they will have it!

Once again, on behalf of the BSC community we warmly thank Mary and Jimmy for their generous support and loudly applaud their community spirit!
