Parent Forum - Reporting

A reminder that tomorrow morning (February 22nd ) at 9.15 am, a reporting forum will be held in the Junior School meeting room.  This will give parents the opportunity to come in and discuss our reporting processes.  Morning tea will be provided.

Three Dots

At this week’s Assembly, the students were challenged to take three coloured sticky dots home and attach them to three things that they were grateful for.  It is hoped they will discuss their choices with parents.  This term’s Assembly theme has been ‘Gratitude’. We are hoping to use this College ‘value’ to foster an ‘attitude of gratitude’ amongst our Junior School student body. In an earlier Assembly, I shared the story of a young woman in Sydney who had taken her first bus ride after suffering a brain injury. In taking her first steps to board the bus, after spending many months relearning how to walk and talk, she commented that ‘If you don’t have to think about something, it is a privilege.’

District Tennis

Last Friday, many students from our school competed in the Hamilton District Round Robin Tennis Tournament at the Lawn Courts.  The day was a great success, with nineteen students attending from the College.  Winners of the completion were Max Hindhaugh and Miranda Page with Jacob Bucher and Sacha Laidlaw runners-up.  These students will be competing in the Division Tennis Competition at Warrnambool on Friday, 8th March.
