Shark Tank

“7E, 8E and 9E participated in the Shark Tank Academic Excel Challenge Day on Wednesday 6th September. The students were tasked with the challenge to create a new product out of a collection of random items and they then had to film an advertisement and ‘sell’ their product to a group of ‘investors’ or ‘Sharks’. One of the great successes of the day was that Year 9 students Matt Cook and Mauricio Barragan Orea ran the day, wearing suits and roaming the audience with microphones. It was a fantastic day with all of the groups presenting great products and creating fantastic ads. The ‘Sharks’ were ruthless in their analysis and questioning of the groups and added an exciting element to the day!”
