Spotlight on Literacy 

Each fortnight a different grade will be in the SPOTLIGHT sharing Literacy inside the classrooms! 

Welcome to Literacy in Year 3!

Year 3 are currently focusing on non fiction texts. They are building the field to work towards writing a biography using factual information, chronological order and the correct text structure and language features. This week, students transferred their information about Mother Teresa into a timeline. We discussed the importance of chronological order, significant events and the structure of a timeline. Students enjoyed completing this task.
