Day for Daniel (Morcombe)

MSS has officially registered alongside many schools across Australia for the 'Day for Daniel'. It is on Friday the 28th of October. You may have seen posters, banners and buntings (flag type banners) around the school grounds. What this looks like for MSS is a day for wearing red, red ribbons displayed on gates around the school, lessons and activities on child safety and a gold coin donation to the Daniel Morcombe foundation can be made in exchange for a selection of a red item (see below for further details).

A staff member and students from S5 will come around to each classroom on the D4D day to collect the donations and give students the item they select. Please donate to this amazing and important foundation and discuss with your child what item (if any) they would like from the list below. Items will be available until quantities run out – A sticker, ribbon or red heart may be given instead if this happens.

For more information, please contact or see Leon in S5. Thank you.
