Intermediate Girls Hockey

Last Thursday the Intermediate Girls headed out to SMR hockey. It was a great learning experience for all girls involved, having never played hockey before we qualified through to this round ready to give it our best crack! Unfortunately, we lost both of our games but had great fun, learning heaps of new skills.

Intermediate Boys/Mixed Hockey

Our Intermediate Boys/Mixed Hockey team competed at the regional finals during Week 4. Our first game was against Dromana SC, where we were victorious 4-0, thanks to a great team effort. After a long break our second game was against Frankston HS; we got off to a slow start and found ourselves down 2-0 at the half. We switched on in the second half and did the majority of the attacking, however time was against us and we ended up being defeated 2-1, ending our day. The team did a great job of representing the school in a positive manner and should all be commended on the level they achieved, especially considering most had never played hockey before. Great work team!

Intermediate Girls Cricket

On Friday 28 October the Intermediate Girls Cricket team competed in the SMR finals. Beaumaris came up against Mac Rob in the semi finals, however were unable to claim victory in extremely difficult conditions due to high winds and rain. Congratulations to all the girls who competed on the day and demonstrated our CORE values throughout the day!
