Faith at St Joseph's...

This Friday the school community will celebrate Mass with Father Shymon.  The focus for the mass will be acknowledging the amazing work of the Missions around the world.

This week the focus for our Online Prayers is Preferential treatment of the poor and vulnerable

Caritas Australia is an organisation that provides international aid and development with local Australian communities and overseas countries.  They are driven by social justice and the dignity of every human being.

Their motto is working together for justice and dignity, walking together in hope, building together a world where all people may thrive.

Dear God,

Help us to remember that Jesus’ journey to the cross was to save a world in need. 

When you call us to take up our cross, you invite us into that mission. 

Give us ready hands and hearts filled with compassion so that we are always ready to serve those in need and contribute to the common good.
