All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.
Good morning families,
I apologise that we were not able to send out the newsletter on Friday due to internet problems. Hopefully we are backup and running and will remain so for the rest of the week.
Our Year 3 students are preparing for to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Last Friday they had their Reflection Day and yesterday it was their Journey Mass. Thank you to all the families that attended the masses over the weekend and to the Year 3 teachers and Mrs Douglas for their attendance too.
Parent's Request for 2023
A friendly reminder that requests for class placement for 2023 will be accepted until the COB this Friday 28 October.
Running Club
Running club will not be on tomorrow but will continue next Tuesday, thank you to Brendan Ellul, Dean Andrew and Tanya Stefanec who are assisting the students.
Canteen
Please remember to order your child's lunch before 8 pm the night before your child's order as the canteen doesn't receive orders after the cut-off.
Aladdin
Starts tonight and we are all so excited.
As mentioned in last week's newsletter, for class make up, all that is required is base foundation, blush, mascara and lipstick. If your child does not wish to wear make up that is OK.
Kingston Division Athletics
Congratulations to all the students who competed in last Monday's Kingston Division Athletics, they all did a wonderful job and many PB's were achieved. Congratulations to the 9 students who competed in the Regional Athletics Competition last Wednesday. Congratulations to Milo who will now compete in the State Athletic Competition. We wish him all the very best.

Please ensure that your child has their hat at school, as we have a "no hat no play" policy.
Parents & Friends Function
Our Parents and Friends have worked really hard to organise a social function, please see the information below. More details can be seen on the PFA page. The function is Saturday 19 November @ 7 PM at Lydford & Co Mentone.
