Music Notes

Music operations guide update - Term 4

Melissa Gregory, Acting Dean of Performing Arts

To ensure the health and safety of our staff and students, woodwind, brass and singing students are encouraged to continue their lessons on Microsoft Teams until restrictions are lifted further. Instrumental ensembles are to continue onsite with the exception of wind and brass instruments performing on Teams.

Co-curricular choirs may choose to conduct sessionals outside if a suitable space can be found (no more than ten participants). Year level choirs are cancelled until further notice.

Star of the week

Congratulations to Zachary Ma (Prep student).  Zachary started learning violin this year and has done incredibly well.

Zachary has also learnt and memorised a piece on his own. He has now completed his beginner’s grade and is ready for Year 1. Well done Zachary, you are a star!
