DANCE EXCURSION – NOVEMBER 2015 JUMPZ  BENDIGO

Recently in November, 27 Dance students had the opportunity to visit JUMPZ in Bendigo. The purpose was to enhance our coordination, acrobatic and gymnastic skills for our final performance out the final year assembly on Thursday the 10th of December.

The visit began with intensive instruction and then the rest of the time was to expand and explore our skills. Some students came away with new skills that included 360 degree leaps of a wall, backward and forward trampoline summersaults. We also had the opportunity to bond as a full dance team.

 The Dance program has meant a lot to me because of catching up with friends on a weekly basis that I would not normally see, and to talk to Mrs Bothe outside of class time.

Thanks to Mrs Bothe and Miss Squire for organising such a wonderful day!
