2017 Student Residential Address Collection

Welcome back everyone! I hope you all had an enjoyable break and are feeling ready and refreshed for Term 2.

Just some news regarding student residential address collections - the Australian Government Department of Education and Training is currently updating its residential data on all non-government schools. As such, all schools have been requested to provide student residential addresses to them. This is part of a routine process that occurs approximately every 4 years in line with the Australian Bureau of Statistics Population and Housing Census.

Good news for parents/guardians - you do not need to provide any information directly to the department. The School will directly take care of this on behalf of all our students’ families. All you need to do is ensure that your address details are up to date.

To update your child’s/children’s residential address details, please do so via the Parent Portal or call and advise Reception on 9578 6231. We would appreciate it if you could please get this done before Friday 19 May 2017.

Information provided

We will provide the department with de-identified address information for all of our students’ families - this means addresses but no student names. We will also provide students’ level of education (i.e. whether the student is receiving primary or secondary education).

If you would like more information, please feel free to read the attached 2017 Student Residential Address Collection notice from the Australian Government.
