The Year 10 SRC  leaders Jordan  Minter and Alicia Dorning with their Year 10 teachers collaborated  to  bring about the very first Year 10 Generate festival.

The festival was designed to display the achievement of our students during the first three terms. The evening was attended by about 30 parents and 60 students. The Performing Arts Area dazzled us with some dance and music sequences.  The Visual Arts teachers provided some incredible work for our parents and students to view. All our learning areas were involved in presenting a slice of Year 10 life.

We would like to thank parents, students and teachers for their support yesterday. Our first ever Generate festival was an exciting mix of learning from 2019. We are very proud of our Year10 group. The SRC leaders were able to bring together a wide cross section of Year 10 activity from our classes this year.

We hope to expand this event to be even more effective next year by assisting students to work in partnership with teachers to improve curriculum design and all aspects of school life.
