SEAL Information Evening

SEAL
At Staughton, we offer a personal learning environment, ideal for engaging students’ interest. This environment is underpinned by our rights and responsibilities of Learn, Safe and Respect. Our SEAL program, as part of The Academy of Accredited SEAL Schools (TAASS), aims to operate within the wider community along with engaging students who are currently in the program. This incorporates a variety of student focused, teacher focused and community-focused events which will ultimately develop a holistic, and student centered approach in creating future leaders.
To be an effective member of society, students must have skills and abilities that permit them to understand the environment in which they will work, and play an active role in shaping their own futures.
We know some students will leave us to undertake jobs not yet invented. We also know employers of the future will require high-level skills in communication, teamwork, problem solving, perseverance and use of technology. At Staughton College, as part of our SEAL program, we lay the groundwork for this in developing effective learners who are able to adapt and rise to the challenges of the 21st Century.
Staughton College has the only accredited SEAL program, which is endorsed by The Academy of Accredited SEAL Schools TAASS in the outer western corridor.
The 2017 SEAL Information Evening will take place on April 13th from 6:00-6:30pm at Staughton College.
This is for incoming Year 7 students enrolling for 2017.
If you have any queries or questions about the SEAL program, then come along to our Information Evening.
