Morning Tea for Volunteers

Morning Tea for Volunteers

On the 21st of November, the Wellbeing Team and the EAL Team put together a morning tea to thank the volunteers who tirelessly come in to support their respective programs.

EAL Coordinator, Ms. Hemiak, said, “The volunteers have been an enormous help to the EAL students this year. We have seen big improvements in the reading abilities for all of the students. We can’t thank the volunteers enough for giving up their time each week to come and help. Their help has been invaluable”.

Ms. Glenda Lind, Ms. Rosaleen Rowe, Ms. Dawn Harrison, Ms. Rosemary Bradley, Ms. Anne Kelly, Ms. Patricia Dean, and Ms. Diane Spiteri come in on rotation from Mondays to Wednesdays to help the EAL Tutorial Group’s reading program.  This is the third year in a row that the lovely ladies have given us their time, knowledge, and patience.  We are truly grateful for their continued support.

The Wellbeing Team would also like to express their gratitude to the volunteers who come for the Breakfast Club.
