Senior Boys Table Tennis

Congratulations to the boys who have finished 3rd in the School Sports Victoria Table tennis Championships.

Having easily qualified through the Keilor Division, the team found it harder at Western Region going down to Islamic College Tarneit in the final. Finishing runners up was enough to qualify for the State Finals.

At the State Finals, our team defeated Seymour and the Eastern Country winner to set up a last group game against perennial winners Melbourne High School. We gave them a great fight, ultimately losing 4:2 in a closely fought out affair. Finishing 2nd in the group meant we qualified for the semi - finals, but another match with Islamic College who were in red hot form. Unfortunately Islamic College were again too strong.

A fantastic effort from the boys who gave their best against Melbourne High School and Islamic College, who had numerous Australian ranked players in  their teams.
