Upcoming Police Incursion

Monday 20th February,  we will welcome Constables Andrew and Lizzie, Police Youth Resource Officers for Darebin Council. We have invited them to come and discuss with our students the importance of cyber safety. Our preps will learn about how to call 000 in the case of an emergency. 

Social Thinking Program

This year, our Year 1/2 students will be exploring social thinking during Wellbeing lessons. This is a directed program which explores the ability to consider your own and others thoughts, emotions, beliefs, intentions and knowledge to use to interpret and respond.

The Social Thinking Methodology provides evidence-based strategies to help people aged four through adult, develop their social competencies, flexible thinking & social problem solving and improve:

• Executive functioning
• Friendship & relationship development
• Perspective taking
• Self-regulation
• Social Thinking Vocabulary
