Year 9 Performing Arts -

Year 9 Performing Arts has got off to a great start this year! We jumped straight into learning about the various production roles in theatre, doing practical activities to develop our acting/directing skills and began planning for our end of semester production. So far, I’ve really enjoyed getting to know new people within the class and looking behind the scenes of some professional theatre productions. We are all looking forward to our end of term excursion to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Princess Theatre and getting the opportunity to showcase our own talents to the EDSC community.”

“The new Performing Arts class has been a game changer for me. Being able to have deep discussions with classmates about directing and other aspects of stage performance has been a truly enjoyable experience. Acting for my peers has also allowed me to further my skills and understanding of the trade of Drama. The upcoming opportunity to attend the stage performance of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will also be an extremely unique experience that will surely stay with the whole class for years to come.”
