Advent

This week we continued with our Advent liturgies. The 1/2 level presented the second week of Advent with a focus on Peace. They read the scripture from Matthew where John the Baptist asks everyone to be prepared as the chosen one is coming. Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord!

The 3/4 level will present the next 2 Advent liturgies.

Week Three Wednesday 7/12     3/4  Joy

Week Four Tuesday 13/12           3/4  Love

These will be at 9:00 in the Church. All welcome.

End of Year Mass

The end of year Thanksgiving mass will be celebrated on Thursday 15th December at 12:00. We look forward to celebrating our year together. All Welcome.

Christmas hampers

Please continue to send in items for our Christmas Hamper. The deadline is next week so the classes can have them ready for Friday the 7th of December.

PARISH NEWS

And so we come to the end of another school year.  To our Grade 6 children, our blessings go out to you as you embark on the next venture of your lives at secondary school next year.  Please remember you are always welcome here and we hope to see you at our weekend eucharistic celebrations.  To other families who may be leaving the school, we hope you have enjoyed your years here at Holy Spirit and will treasure many fond memories of your time here and the friendships that you have formed.  On behalf of Father Arsenio and the Parish House Team, Jacinta, Jenny, Ruth and Mary we wish all our school families a very happy, holy and safe Christmas.

The Spirit (December 2022) is now under preparation.
