Scholarships for School Leavers 

The Bendigo Bank is offering scholarships to students who are completing their schooling in 2022 to study at TAFE or University in 2023. 

Two recipients will be selected.

Details of Program

The scholarship / bursary / award / prize (The Scholarship program) aims to assist academically motivated students from Boorowa and Surrounding Districts, who have been offered a place at an Australian university, TAFE Institute or College to study for the first time at Bachelor’s degree level in 2023 and are experiencing challenging circumstances.

The Scholarship program supports the following study related expenses – accommodation costs, course costs, study-related materials/equipment, textbooks, tutoring and /or education related travel (within Australia).

Key General qualification criteria:

• You are an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
• Students must reside in or attend school in Boorowa and Surrounding Districts (including Rye Park, Rugby, Frogmore, Reids Flat)
• You can demonstrate leadership both within, and outside, your school community.
• You can demonstrate the challenging circumstances (financial &/or social) hindering your ability to undertake further study; and
• You are an academically motivated student who can demonstrate community involvement.
