From the P&F President

This term has been a big one! The Fete, was a great success. We raised about $7500.00 which was wonderful but to see people back in the school grounds and reconnecting with each other was a great joy. I know it’s been said before, but THANK YOU. Thanks you to those of you that put your hands up and answered the call to help when we became really desperate. A HUGE thanks and I mean a HUGE thanks has to go to Kate Pigram. I don’t think too many people would realise the amount of work she put into organising it all. With very few helpers a lot of the work was left to Kate. To be completely honest I’m sure we would not have managed to have a fete if Kate didn’t come forward and put her hand up to run it. So again I say thank you.

We had 242 people come and have a BBQ dinner and watch “Arthur Christmas” on Friday night. We also ran a raffle, prizes that were donated for the Fete but didn’t get snapped up. It raised us a couple of hundred dollars. I hope you all enjoyed your evening. I’d be keen to hear people’s feedback. I must also mention and give a BIG thanks to Chris Estreich. When our WiFi wasn’t working Chris stepped in and saved the night! 

Again, thank you to all of you who have helped throughout the year. You’ve made the year so much easier and much more enjoyable. I’ve loved getting to know you all that little bit better. 

That’s all for the P&F this year. We had our last meeting for the year so we will all have a well earnt break. We come back in 2023 with our first meeting on Wednesday the 22nd February (5.30pm in the school staff room). Our Welcome BBQ is pencilled in for early March. 

I know I’ve said it before but please know you are all welcome to attend meetings, if that is unachievable, we would still love you to put your hand up and help at the different events throughout the year.
