Parents and Friends 

We are so excited to start planning out a wonderful 2023 for all of our SFS families. We have lots of opportunities for parents to get involved with events both during the school day and after school this term. Make sure to watch out for information on these opportunities. 

We jump straight in with Pancakes on Shrove Tuesday (21st February) with forms going home this week. Pancake Day for the parents and friends committee takes a lot of helpers so we would love to see lots of names in the Parent Helper section of the form. 

Other ways to assist are volunteering with Icy Poles on a Friday morning, or assisting with the uniform shop. We are very appreciative to have the lovely Renee taking care of the uniform shop this year so make sure to pop by and say hi. 

Our first committee meeting for the year is also this month on Tuesday 21st of February at 6 pm in the community room. 

Uniform Shop

The uniform shop will be opened regularly through the year. Opening hours will continue to be updated. The next open day will be Wednesday from 8:30am. All pieces are $5. 

Your uniform donations are very greatly appreciated and ensure we can continue to run the uniform shop for families. 

Icy Pole Fridays

Don’t forget your 50 cents on Fridays for a Zooper Dooper. These will be on sale outside of each learning space at first lunch. 

We are always looking for more families to assist with this so if you are keen to get involved please contact Courtney at pfapresident@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au and we will get you on the roster.

A reminder that a Working with Childrens Check is required for any helpers at school. Your WWCC needs to be supplied to the school and lodged with the office. Volunteer WWCC are free to complete. The check will allow you to assist with any school event that needs helpers.
