- Senior Choir rehearsals started this week. Rehearsals will be on Wednesday at Second Lunch. All Seniors are welcome to attend, even if they missed out on the first week.
- A notice has been sent via Operoo to all students who attended the first rehearsal. Choir tops can be purchased for $40 (cash in an envelope given to Lorenza or Vivienne at the front office) or at the Second Hand Uniform Shop (if stock is available). I have made a bulk order and should receive the tops in six to eight weeks. All the details can be found on the Operoo notice. 2023 Production Advertisement Competition
- This year is Production Year. The Juniors will be performing ‘Destination Regulation’ which explores different emotions.
- The Seniors will be performing ‘Colour My World’, which is about a family that seeks to find colour/happiness in their lives.
- This year, students are welcome to create an advertisement for each production using the website ‘Canva’. Please email/share your advertisements to me by Week 5. kgalea@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au
Example of Advertisement
- Please use the website Canva:
The advertisement needs to have ‘St. Francis de Sales Primary School’ and the title of the Production. The rest will be added in when dates are finalised.
Auditions in Class
- This week, students had the opportunity to audition for roles in the 2023 Productions. Auditions were conducted in Wellbeing/Music classes with Rachel and I. We have allocated roles and these students will receive a letter and a script in a couple of weeks, after the script has been finalised. There were so many amazing auditions that we need to write more script! Good luck to all those who auditioned!!
