Mystery of the Mural of 'C' Block

Over the Summer holidays (for students' anyway) there was a lot of cleaning, shifting, rubbish removal, cleaning again and room changes. During this process an ancient artefact was 'discovered' in 'C' Block. Questions started to be asked. Who did this magnificent work of art? When was it done? Who was the teacher that inspired their class to produce this amazing work of art? How do we find the answer to these questions? There is a lot of criticism of Social Media, but it can connect us with "our tribe" and have answerers to some of our questions. Lalor North Secondary College   joined the 'Lalor North Secondary College- 90's students' Facebook page and posted an image of the mural and asked the questions.

It is the creation of the 1987 Year 7's. Back then a young gentleman, Steve Cabia with his fellow students made their own panel and we are still searching for the teacher involved. Steve had a lovely on line chat with our marvellous Mary Van Putten.
