Lets do Lunch Year 7 style

7A  - Let’s do Lunch!

In Food Technology 7A we’re given their first Design Brief to respond to. This required them to design a healthy lunch that could be packed the night before school and still look and taste delicious by the time they ate it at lunchtime the next day. During one class they considered their options possible, made choices and produced a shopping list. In the next session students set about producing their healthy lunch whilst learning about safe and hygienic work practises in the kitchen. We celebrated the success of this task by sitting together and eating our lunch as one group. Students shared individual experiences of food patterns in their own families and personal highlights of their new days spent at Lalor North.
