Welcome back!

The Careers faculty has two new homes in 2023. Firstly, we have a dedicated classroom for Careers delivery. Where possible all Careers content will be delivered from the new Careers Lab. The space looks very suspiciously like the old A2…but it will be transforming over the term.

I have a new office located in the old Welfare space opposite the admin area.

Look at the work our year 7s created in the first week of school. They completed activities that drew on their current knowledge of jobs and occupations. This triggered a lot of discussion and especially highlighted how useful transferrable skills are. See their work in the photos below depicting both Career Ideas and Career Alphabet activities.

For a closer look at their work drop into the Careers Lab. The displays are on the wall.
