Welcome to 2023! We have some wonderful sporting events coming up this term. In the coming weeks our 5/6 students will be commencing PSSA sport trials. On Friday 17 February, our wonderful swimmers will be participating in the District Swimming Carnival at Oak Flats pool, against 12 other schools from the area. All students will also have the opportunity to experience various sport options for our weekly Friday sport activities. 

District Swimming Carnival - Friday 17 February 23

Date: Friday 17 February 2023 

Time: 8:15am 

Venue:  Oak Flats Swimming Pool (Kingston Street & Hope Street, Oak Flats) 

Transport: Private Transport

Attire: Students should come dressed with swimmers underneath their uniform. Please ensure all students' belongings are clearly labelled with their name. 

Other: Goggles (optional), Swimming Cap, Towel, Sunscreen and Hat

Food: Please bring your own recess, lunch and other refreshments - including a water bottle. There will be no canteen facilities available on the day. 

Please meet Miss Rogers and Miss Hawkins under our school tent from 8:15am. Your child can leave directly after their race but they need to be signed out by one of the teachers before departure. The carnival will conclude approximately 2:30pm. 

I cannot wait to see all the different sporting events Windang has to offer this term.
