Year 8 Debating Team Awarded Runner-up Medal at Government House

On Thursday 3 November, Year 8 Debating Team White were invited to Government House to be acknowledged by Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, for their success in the 2022 debating season. The team were the runner-up finalists who had weeks earlier debated against Glenunga International High School at Parliament House with the topic, ‘that private schools should be abolished’. 

Students were presented a unique medallion by the Governor and were treated to canapés and a tour of Government House. 

We are exceptionally proud of the efforts and success of this team and look forward to seeing what they achieve in the 2023 season.
