Leadership Report

Student Leadership Awards

How wonderful was it to present our students yesterday with their leadership badges......and on our new stage! I feel we are getting back to normal little by little. It was fantastic to share the moment live with the kids and their parents. We look forward to having our assemblies outside and with parents next term, fingers crossed.

School Tours 2022 Foundation students

We expect to start providing tours for families next term. Luke and Jess D have done a great job liaising with our kinders, which has not been easy during our covid time this year. I do need to remind prospective parents that we must prioritise our enrolment as per DET directives.

  • Families must live within the school zone
  • Siblings of students who now reside out of the zone may enrol
  • Students outside of the zone will be placed on priority list.

Families who have completed an 'Expression of Interest' form will be invited to the school a tour in due course.

School Photo Day - Wednesday 24th March

Reminder

  • Payment for photos is via electronic payment services to the photo company - not the school. We cannot except cash on the day. All photo payments must be made to the photo company.
  • Students are expected to be in school uniform and on time. As we cannot guarantee the time of your child's photo please make alternative arrangements for any in school hours appointments for that day.
  • Sibling photos must be clearly organised with the photo company not the school  before photo day.
  • Please make sure your child is organised, and please direct all other enquiries to the photo company not our school staff.

Bike Ed

Bike Ed has been a monumental success this year. The kids have had a great learning experience, especially the limbo challenge. Big shout out to the parents who made sure the bikes were ready and at school on time. Also big  special thanks to the parents who volunteered to assist and support Nikki over the last two weeks.

Toilet Block Make over

Thanks to the parents who have volunteered over the past couple of weekends to paint the toilet block. Your work as school volunteers is very much appreciated.

Term Holiday refurbishment of Building C

Over the coming holidays we will be working refurbishing the 4-6 classrooms. This will include new carpet, installing pin board paneling and freshen up the walls with a lick of paint. These are minor works which will, at least, provide the students with a much improved learning environment.

Sub Committees

NPS Communication and Community Hub Survey

The Education Sub Committee have created a survey to gather feedback from families about our current communication tools. We would like to hear about what is working and what could be improved. We are also canvassing ideas about a potential community hub space and would like to include your input in our planning. This survey will be open until Friday, the 2nd of April. Your response will be confidential. We are committed to continuous improvement in our relationships and connections with families.
