Year 7 Music students are currently working on creating their Graphic Music Scores.  This is a creative, compositional, team building, negotiating, critical thinking and fun exercise designed to get students thinking about the language of music, how the sounds are made and organised and what music actually is to them and the world around them. 

The whole school focus on Learning Intentions and Success Criteria (Formative Learning) is supporting some great discussion before, during and after the each lesson with students developing their ability to identify and communicate where they are at with their understanding. The checklist is one of many ways students can move back and forth between learning something new, revising and re learning if necessary.
