Sushi Day
The PFA are excited to be able to bring back Sushi Day in 2021! These days are a great fundraising initiative, supported by local Carnegie business owner Ming, from Sushi Izu. With the move to online ordering through Qkr, we hope to be able to offer Sushi Days more regularly throughout the year.
The first Sushi Day for the year is tomorrow, and we have had a great response. Enjoy, and keep an eye out for more next term.
Icypole Friday
Icypole Friday is on again this week, and every Friday until the end of Term 1. This is another great fundraiser, and judging by the big smiles we see each week, a highlight for the students!
Icypoles are for sale for $1 each, after the second lunch bell.
Students in grades 2 - 6 should come to the canteen window in the Hall of Champions if they would like to buy one.
Prep and Grade 1 students will be able to give their money to their teacher and the icypoles will be handed out in the classroom.
Also, a big thank you to Mrs McGregor, and the Grade 6 students who have been helping out each week.
Easter Eggscitment Coming Soon!
In the coming weeks, orders will open for our Hot Cross Bun drive, and tickets will go on sale and donations will be sought for the ever popular Easter Raffle! Further details will be provided via Compass soon.
PFA Membership
If you would like to be added to the 2021 PFA members list to receive notifications of when meetings are or what help we need, please sign up to become a member through the online form in Qkr! or contact the PFA via email (pfa@carnegieps.vic.edu.au) for a manual form. Under our Constitution we need all members to sign up each year.
Next Meeting and AGM
Our AGM and next General Meeting will be held on Wednesday March 10 at 7:30pm. At our AGM will be seeking nominations for President, Treasurer, Secretary and PFA Rep for School Council. Please refer to the PFA page on the School’s website for role descriptions of each of these positions.
Bakers' Delight – Dough Raiser Program
Support the School each time you shop at Bakers Delight Carnegie! When you purchase goods from Bakers Delight Carnegie, mention Carnegie Primary School before the transaction is finalised and 5% of the sale is donate to the school.
Class Representatives and Contact Lists
Many thanks to those parents who have volunteered to be class representatives this year! These positions are instrumental in facilitating strong connections across the school and individual grades.

You can see we still have a handful of gaps - if you are interested in being a representative for 1E, 3C, 4A, 6A or 6C, please send an email to pfa@carnegieps.vic.edu.au with your contact details and the class you would like to represent.
By now you should have received class contact lists from your representative. If not, please reach out to them to check that your contact details are correctly recorded.
