Origin stories

Last Friday, our amazing students held an exhibition of Origin Stories from around the world. This project aimed to build students’ international mindedness by developing awareness of different perspectives on the origins of the universe.

Each group researched a different origin story and collaborated to design, engage and communicate with their audience through the exhibition. Students were assessed on their research skills as well as their communication with each other and their audience. 

Decision-making, delegation, compromise, encouragement and collaboration were all skills that they brought to the table and practised throughout the task.

The exhibition had students working to a deadline and they were excited and happy to share their work across classes and with the teaching and administrative staff. 

Well done Year 7s.
