PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Deep sadness

Please keep the O'Brien family in your prayers. Their daughter, Maggie, died over a week ago. Maggie was a student at our school in Year 9 last year. Her funeral will be held this Thursday at the Sacred Heart Church. Our Year 10 SRC will represent our school at the funeral. We ask God to be with the family at this deeply sad time.

Support for our students

We have a number of supports in place to help students deal with this tragedy. Mrs Sharon Hollis, our school chaplain, has been available for students. We have also distributed information from Headspace to staff and students. Today we have a counselor from Centacare Armidale in our school to support staff and students. Please keep in touch with the school if your child is struggling so we can support them in the best way we can.

Picking up and dropping off

Thank you to all our families who are following our COVID-19 guidelines regarding picking up and dropping off. We have tried to make the crossing a little less crowded at the gate to helpour younger students see their families. Your support is really appreciated.

Fees and payment

Many of our families have started paying their fees for 2021. Thank you! Accounts have been sent out. If you wish to set up a direct debit or increase your amount deducted please contact the Front Office. If you are paying directly from your bank account please make sure you use your name as a reference. We have had a couple of payments with no identification attached.
