What is the School currently doing?

  • We continue to monitor the information being sent to us from external sources such as the Department of Health, the Department of Education and Independent Schools Victoria and will keep families informed as we become aware of any changes.
  • Extracurricular activities take place as restrictions allow
  • Large gatherings take place in accordance with the necessary directives
  • Hand sanitiser has been made available in a series of locations throughout the school.  Posters are located in relevant areas that remind people of washing their hands and to take the appropriate actions when sneezing and coughing. Hand sanitiser should be used prior to entering the buildings.
  • Cleaning has been stepped up, specifically around touch points. Regular cleaning has been replaced with disinfecting.
  • Our Leadership is regularly meeting and seeking to make decisions that are in the best interests of our entire school community.  This includes in relation to Remote Learning, staggered returns and an eventual full return. Discussions also include the actions to take in the event of further school closures.
  • Students onsite are being spoken to about social distancing, washing their hands regularly and hygiene practices.
  • Staff and students are adhering to the rules introduced about masks and we are taking into consideration the anxiety that this has created for some of our students.
  • The School has in place a COVIDSafe Plan and continues to adhere to the guidelines set by the Government and Health Authorities.
